Cold Water Safety Primer
A one-hour workshop that includes a 20 minute presentation and 40 minute question period. Learn the preliminary signs of hypothermia, how to avoid moving into the danger zone, how to approach your training in a safe way over time. This is great for those who are new to cold water, or have not received any formal safety training.
Cold Water Boot Camp
A series of one-hour sessions at a local beach. Participants will be invited into the water for guided cold water emersion and swimming. They will become more aware of pre, during and post safety procedures and body transition awareness. Participants will gradually progress from dipping to swimming.
Cold Water Swimming
A series of one-hour sessions at a local beach. Participants will be invited into the water for a guided swim in the cold water. This course is designed to improve swimmer acclimation over time.
Open Water Swimming for Beginners
Learn the basics of open water swimming. The program covers how to safely enter and exit the water, basic swim techniques, how to rest on the water, how to swim through the kelp forest and what to do when confronted by wildlife.
Open Water & Marathon Swimming
Looking to improve your speed and distance in the open water? This program is designed specific to each swimmer helping them achieve their open water & marathon swimming goals.
Night Swimming
Learn how to night swim! This course is a series of one-hour sessions at a local beach. Participants will be invited into the water for a guided night swim. Initial session will be at dusk. As sessions progress, so will the darkness.
Ultra-Marathon Swim Planning
Consults and a training plan for those who are wishing to embark on an ultra-marathon swim.
