The Spirit Orcas hope to return to the Great Bear Rain forest in Heiltsuk Territory in 2021. They have temporarily put their journey on pause during the pandemic.
Their next swim in the territory will be a relay 25 to 30 kilometre down Hunter Channel to Cultis. Once there, they will camp over night and some will swim back.
